Received in mail January 2007, in trade for The Beatles 'A-B Road' set. The master tapes have evidently been lost, so this turned out to be the only available copy. By request, I forwarded the discs on to beeerlover for further processing and distribution. The files on these discs were date-stamped 2006-07-29 and 30.

Later given a title and catalog number by SkUnKaDeLiC and seeded by beeerlover as '30,000 Fans Can’t Be Wrong!' (#ROIO DVD 006)

The discs were pretty scratched, and I tried 4 different PC's before I was able to read all the files without errors. I simply copied the files to HD using Windows Explorer. To verify, I burned the files as a 'video project' with Nero 6. Nero reported that no files were altered for file reallocation. The resulting discs were then copied back to HD as before, and the md5 checksums were identical to my original transfer from the scratchy discs:

More info to follow, but for now will go with this:

Description-
First & most importantly -- this is complete or extremely close to complete!
During the first 70 seconds, the camera is warming up and thus bad video during this time (normal).

Second, everyone knows that camcorders generally do not sound good; this is no exception, BUT there is potential here. I originally received these disks, because I told skunk that I would look into remastering the audio & attempt a more authored version of this VOIO. Well, I have attempted a bit of audio remastering on this with some really nice results; however, I am not done, nor do I know how soon this might be finished - if at all. So we decided to go ahead and share an 'as received' version for yeeshkul’s birthday.

Skunk suggested I shrink this down a bit--a good decision for the final authoring (most likely), but I decided not to do that with the first circulation and let it free as RAW. Why? Because there is another DVD from this date, and if anyone does a 2 cam mix this will work better from RAW.
So, this is 3 DVDS (with a simple 1 chapter per disk menu from a stand alone DVD recorder.)

Honestly, I think this VOIO contains some really great RW footage & some really great back-of-head-shots.

Don’t download this expecting a great video watching/listening experience; instead download if you are interested in preserving a historical document or interested in doing some 2 cam mixing & some audio work.
