From the info file:

Apologises once again to one and all.
For some reason after I'd intially succesfully seeded this recording and people were downloading it, my computer crashed and I couldn't get it to seed again no matter what I tried. I even tried to download it but got stuck at 72% like everyone else.
So I've started again from scratch and hopefully, this time you'll be able to get it. Once again many apologises.

This recording is taken from a 2 disc Cdr copy of Pink Floyd at Stafford New Bingley Hall on 30th March 1977.
Consequently there are no details on the cover as to record label or catologue Number of the discs or even the source of the recording.

There are however some identifying features to this recording.
Mainly that on the 30th March 1977 England played Luxemborg in an English football match at Wembley.

One of our members 'mollers' recalls 'I too attended this show.
My recollection was that it was England playing and a goal was scored whilst the radio was tuned in (my brother remembers it that way as well)'.

This was because in my earlier review in the quite part whilst the radio is being tuned in before 'Wish You Were Here' you can clearly hear part of the live radio commentary which mentions 'Manchester United' (an English football team) and part of the crowd booed. He then says 'A couple of yards on the far side their right'
Then we go to the familar radio tuning as on the album.

However earlier you can here the BBC commentator clearly say 'England are winning 4-0...' big cheer by the audience, 'As the ball moves over the line it will be a throw in...'
With a use of a little detective work I found England were playing at Wembley that night against Luxemborg. Final score 5-0.

So to the recording:
Unfortunately Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts 6 to 9) fades in half way through.

Sound quality wise this version is no where near in the bracket of the Oakland or other 77 shows of that standard.
However it is still ok and I would rate it at G+ to VGish.

Unfortunately I've not heard any of the other UK shows to compare it to.

I went to this show and that was the reason for me buying it.
I listen to it from time to time but I think thats more out of nostalgia than anything else.
