Notes: This is my transfer from a VHS I bought back in 1998. Picture and sound quality are pretty bad. Since I *bought* this tape, I have no idea about the lineage. I decided to transfer and share it because it seems to be uncirculated. However, it is not unknown, the VHS is mentioned at http://www.pf-roio.de/voio/rogers_voios.html: --- begin quote --- ATLANTA 9/2/87 The label on this one claims: 'Best Video of KAOS Tour,' but I don't agree. At least it's complete, including Paul Carrack performing 'Tempted.' The camera is way up high in the right balcony and can't zoom close enough to get a good look at the band members. The movie screen is blocked by lighting equipment. The sound is buzzy at times. On my copy, the picture isn't crisp. Even the performances seem lackluster. The camerawork is consistent and fairly steady (for handheld anyway). But we're never quite close enough or clear enough to become engaged in the show. The encore leaves out 'Breathe,' which was added later to the set list. Note: a 120-minute version also exists, minus the Carrack number and ending after 'Home.' Sound and picture are slightly better. --- end quote --- The recording we have right here is the 120-minute version. Right now, this is probably all we have from this date; hopefully a better quality tape will surface some day. Thanks to moonwall for finding the link. ~LTE March 2009 |
