Notes
Recorded at the Vereeniging, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Nice audience recording. The correct date is: 12 November 1978.

From the info file:

Camel

11th December 1978
De Vereeniging, Nijmegen, The Netherlands
Aud, B, 85min

Poor recording, but an unusual setlist running order, with the concert beginning with Lunar Sea, more commonly played as an encore. From the recording, this seems authentic, as there is no obvious tape edit indicating a mixup in the editing.

I've seen this concert listed as either 12th November or 11th December, presumably resulting from a 11/12-12/11 mixup. Which is it? The November date would make sense in terms of the band's itinerary, that date falling between the 9th in Basle, Switzerland, and the 18th Tours, France. However the December date is the commonly listed one. It is possible that the date was added to the end of the tour for some reason, and that may also explain the unusual setlist.

If anyone has further insight into this, please comment!

I've always found the calyx (Cantabury) site to be a treasure trove of accurate information.
The opinion there is the November date and the details that Caravan and Michael Chapman were also on the bill adds a good deal of authenticity IMO:

November
[12] Nijmegen (Netherlands), Vereeniging [also: Michael Chapman] [Camel]

Definitely 12 November - this is from the Dutch magazine OOR.

PS: re: the above post, Caravan were *not* on the bill. It's a Caravan chronology, but the Camel dates for 1978-79 are included because Caravan were inactive and there were several members of Caravan in Camel at the time.
