First of all, bear with the uploads from Dublin since I will be doing mobile seeding. Why, you ask? The place I am staying advertises free wireless but you get what you pay for. This means it works like a stopped clock (right twice a day) . Different story each time I asked with the final answer is it doesn't work well with American computers. Woke up with my sleep cycle all messed up due to jet lag but as Roger says 'the show must go on' and I am ready. When I booked the trip, little did I know another American by the name of Barack Obama was going to be here. Security was locked down as every police officer from Ireland it seemed was on security detail. I had plans to meet mforretall whom I met on Ecaccess for lunch at 12:30. Little did I know at 12:15 my hotel was on the motorcade route. I got to see the President and First Lady drive right past. Very cool indeed. Bob artrived a little later and we had a nice lunch at a local pub. After lunch I received a message from Radiowaves from Yeeshkul to meet at 3. Since I can't make mobile calls connecting was difficult. Finally reached his wife to confirm but I was given bad directions and we didn't connect. I took off for the O2 after trying to locate a pay phone and ended up the the bar across the plaza from the O2. I was a good boy and had coffee and watched the TV broadcast of the President. I watched the first couple drink some Guinness and work the crowd. It was great to watch the Irish see our current president has a human side. I chatted with a couple from Ireland that let me use their phone and I connected with Radiowaves. I gave the couple a copy of the MSG DVD remaster and they were thrilled. Radiowaves made it, bum arm and all and it was great meeting. He was recording for the first time this show so it was a fun conversation. ON TV was the concert broadcast and the President's speech. Would have liked to record the free show but I came for Roger and that's what I was going to do. As the speech was ending I got on line and as the search wasn't in I was. Assembled the gear and found my spot since it was GA. The O2 is tiny and I chatted with the folks around me. Kagee1 arrived and we had a great time chatting before the show. He is the reason I made it and thanks for the ticket big time. No problems and here is the result for all to enjoy.
