Audio Matrix
A SolitaryPine Production [SP027]

Three audio sources were used:

Taper: bostondave
Equipment: Eridol R09-HR wav -> edited with goldwav -> flac
Location: Section 301
Downloaded from Dime A Dozen on Mon 08th Mar, 2010
Matrix Usage: Used for the entire duration of the recording
No additional remastering of this recording was done, except for what is noted below.

Taper: wb
Performance: O2 World, Berlin (Germany) October 30, 2009
Equipment: OKM IIr > A3 > EDIROL R-09 > USB > WAV
Lineage: Adobe Audition (EQing) > CDwave (tracking) > FLAC frontend
Matrix Usage: Used for the intro track - preceeding Uprising (We are the Universe)
BTW: If you have not heard wb's recording of this Berlin show, get it, it is superb!

Taper: SolitaryPine
Equipment: Edirol R-09 24 bit, 48Khz using a direct line-out to line-in feed from an ALD receiver
Location: Inside the Garden
Matrix Usage: Used for most all the matrix, except for the last 2 songs (which were not recorded due to an error).

Matrix Lineage:

Cool Edit Pro 2.1 multi-track mode > Mixdown to FLAC > PCM 16 bit @ 48.0 Khz
Some EQ was used to enhance the bostondave master for the last 2 songs as well as a few pockets of time when the alternate source was not used.

Notes:

My first time seeing Muse live, and boy I was certainly not disappointed.
What a great show it was, with superb theatrics and stage presence. Thank you to
all who make this Muse tour possible!
I also want to thank TapersSection for allow Cotis and myself to hook up for this
video and audio collaborative effort. I want to thank Cotis for his I-95 corridor
road trip and for video taping the shows, especially the Boston show. It's truly
priceless to be able to preserve the performance for future viewing (and in 1080p
to boot!).

If you have not seen the Blu Ray DVD of this show, surf on over to Muse Bootlegs and
grab up a copy of it. It's a superbly done video.

A big thanks goes out to bostondave and dw for allowing their master
recordings to be used for this work. Permission was asked and obtained from each of them.

This was my second audio matrix ever, but the first one of this scale and in using some real software tools to get it accomplished. This effort took many many hours to complete, and although far from perfect, it's pretty darn good considering some of the challenges that arose during the mastering (some of them include FM hiss removal, time skewing adjustments, and distortion compensation; none of which were trivial).

And, finally of course, thank you to all who tape forward in order to share back.
Keep the trading alive by only using lossless storage and always remember to SEED!
