Just knew a couple of tracks anyone would know if they watched movies or listened to radio. But I heard that their shows are very good. So when it turned out I could go and see the band live I did not hesitate and jumped the opportunity. The venue is a sports palace which is usually half open for any gig, except for Metallica last year, which is evident since they had a circle stage etc. For the Muse gig the promoters opened 1.5 times more space and… it was sold out. I have not witnessed that many people in Olympiyskiy since the aforementioned Met gig. I was a lucky owner of a fan area ticket and stood dead center about 20-30 m away from the stage (might be wrong with the distance, sorry if it matters). The sound was fabulous, the show was really great with impeccable production, but… as I said I’m not much of a fan of the music and while half of the girls were screaming their lungs out I almost fell asleep standing twice :) Anyways, no offense to the fans. Just stating my feelings! I checked the tracker and I see only one Muse 2011 recording, so here’s something from me. The sound turned out really good. Good bless good venue sound and good mics, hehe.
