It is from this that the title is taken. For 'The Wall', Section 4 was the right-most section on the floor and the second section back from the stage. Seat 14, where my photographer friend was seated (who took the still pics that are included), was the left-most seat on the aisle. Great seats with the inflatable pig hovering behind us for much of the time it was out and directly under the falling confetti of the various symbols (Dollar signs, etc.) The recording device was in the recorder's right breast shirt pocket (see picture). The recorder was right-of-center stage and due to the placement in the right pocket, the recording device was rotated out-of-plane with the stage to the right. This is why the right-channel had to have its level increased. The left channel's level was spot-on, with only a handful of inaudile clipped peaks. Each set was recorded as a separate take (file). I'm very happy with the results of this, my second attempt at recording a concert. Released to the Yeeshkul! community on the first anniversary of the concert. Do whatever you want with this. I claim no rights whatsoever to it and I can't stop you anyway. Good etiquette, however, whould dictate that you not sell this nor distribute lossy copies such as MP3 versions. If you want to be a lamer, that's entirely up to you! |
