About this Rev.A:
I discovered this footage at the end of a VHS tape that my (then) girlfriend (now wife) recorded on her Sony VCR.
We never made a note that this special was on this tape and I just recently stumbled upon it, just a few weeks after I made a DVD of the version that I recorded myself back then, on my Mitsubishi VCR.
I assumed 'my' version would be of better quality anyway, as my Mutsubishi was a stereo VCR, and the Sony was mono.
However: the picture quality of this new version is quite a lot better, IMO.
The sound quality is about the same or, I have to admit, maybe even better as well. But mono!
I opened both audio tracks in Adobe Audition to compare the waveforms. Both were almost identical. Also, both channels in the stereo version look very much alike, which make me think that even though I recorded this in stereo, the broadcast may have been in mono.
But, I'm not sure about that, so I included this 'stereo' (?) track as well, as an alternative audio track ('Audio 2' or 'English (2)').
