| Recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London, England. Excellent professional recording - see info file below for details. From the info file: This is the 'David Gilmour in Concert' video that was broadcast by MTV and released on VHS in 1984 (now out of print). A friend who works at an East Coast TV station found a 1' station master and digitally transferred it onto DVCAM for me. This is without a doubt the best looking (and probably sounding) source I've seen of this show. I released this about a year ago (July 2006) as the 'definitive version' but it was pointed out that my audio track was in mono. Research revealed that my 1' master reel tape did indeed have a mono soundtrack. I've now remastered this DVD (RevA) and have included a stereo soundtrack (from the official VHS) along with the mono source from the original release on audio track 2 (and it does still sound awesome). For a bonus track I've included 'Love On The Air' which originates from the same gig but was never aired with this concert (instead it aired as a music video).
