CONTRAST CLAUSE: This is a third source of this show but has very minimal chatter (even the most annoying talkers seem to shut up when the tickets are $400) and was from an ideal position.

Well this was an unexpected surprise. On the morning of the 14th I got an SMS asking if I would like to come to The Wall that night as a friend had a spare ticket. Of course I said yes, I hadn't been able to afford a ticket and was keen to see if the show lived up to the hype.

The ticket was for the best spot on the floor, halfway between the stage and soundboard DFC.

The show was the greatest production I have ever seen with superb sound coming from all directions and a light show you need to see to believe!

The music was so tight it may as well have been recorded and I was able to get a recording I am super pleased with. (as a funny aside I was initially super upset with the recording when I jumped in the car to drive home and plugged the PCM10 into the stereo it sounded terrible, only when I went to turn it off did I notice that playback was set to 3/4 speed... Oops!)

I have up'ed this as a third option for the reasons covered in the contrast clause. Apart from normalising I have done no post on this recording as there was no work required on it at any point.

As always please enjoy this recording and show your support by getting out and seeing the show live if you ever get the chance.
